Under 12 - 17 Teams

Under 12 - 17 teams will be entered into the relevant divisions in the Bayside Easts and Redlands (BEARS) competition. Girls and Boys are most welcome to register. The divisions are determined according to age and skill level, against criteria determined by BEARS. For example the lower divisions of this association cater for the 12 and 13 year olds. Games are played against other EDJCA teams but also include the Bayside and Redlands areas teams. Games will be played in both EDJCA and Redlands areas.

What age division am I in

The age you are at 31 August determines the age eligibility. Boys and Girls aged 11 and up at that date are eligible to play in the BEARS competition. Younger players may only do so with the approval of the club's Junior Director of Coaching.

How many in a team

What Time

Games generally start at 8"00am and are finished by 12:00pm. A full fixture listing will be provided to your team's Coach and Manager.

When

The BEARs competition follows the school terms, starting in Term 4 and finishing in Term 1.

You are able to nominate for either a full season or half season (Term 4 only).

Training

Each team trains once a week in the afternoon at the Bulimba Cricket Club grounds.

Training session allocations will be provided to your team's coach.

Where

Games are played against other BEARs teams such as Redlands, Wellington Point, Wynnum Manly, Carina, Holland Park, Mansfield, Villanova and Redeemer Lutheran College's.

Cost

The BEARs competition incurs an additional $25 levy for the maintenance of turf pitches on top of the standard registration costs.

What do I wear

All players will need to wear the Bulimba Cricket Club game shirts, which can be purchased at registration time for $45.
